Good to know
Each line break in your draft is a press of Enter, which Notion turns into a new block, just as it does when you type.
Notion can turn some line starts into blocks as they are typed, such as “- ” into a bullet or “# ” into a heading. Trace does not undo that in Notion, so check lists and headings once your draft is in.
Bold, italics and headings from a Word upload are applied only in Google Docs and Word on the web. In Notion the text comes in plain, and a page break becomes an empty line.
Trace doesn’t use Notion’s API or ask you to connect an account. It types into the page you have open.
Schools and workplaces set their own rules about how work is entered. Trace types writing that is already yours; where a rule says otherwise, follow the rule. Read the ethics statement.
